If the mists appear in the forest meadows after a thunderstorm, the inhabitants of Schömberg and the surrounding regions say: “The little shrub women travel home.” The “little shrub women” are part of the forest spirits:] The dwarves, nixies, kobolds, elves and so forth who used to dwell on the Tannenlehne, the Grüner Berg, the Stritt, and other mountains.
